“I am the place where God shines through,
For He and I are one, not two.
He wants me where, and as I am,
I need not fret, nor fear, nor plan.
If I will be relaxed and free
He'll carry out his work through me.”

* When it comes to starting work on something, there are two words that are often used interchangeably – initiator and instigator. However, there is a subtle difference between the two that is important to understand.

An instigator is a word to use to describe someone who starts something with a negative intention. It means someone who provokes, agitates, and incites others to take action and who causes trouble, creates conflict and disrupts the status quo.

Do we really want to work from this standpoint?

On the other hand, an initiator is someone who starts something with a positive intention who takes the first step, and gets the ball rolling. Often it’s someone who acts as a catalyst for change and progress.

So back to the poem which reminds us to see that God is shining through us.
